Our actions and decisions are motivated by motivation. Even when times are difficult, it is what keeps us going. But "motivation" itself is not always easy to find, and it can be hard to sustain over a lengthy time. 

Hence, creating a motivating strategy that is specific to you is crucial. I'll bet you didn't know that!


Here are five key steps of Motivational Planning:

Establish Your Priorities and Goals

Making a motivation plan begins with identifying your goals and key priorities. What are your objectives, and why is this important to you? 
By agreeing on your goals and priorities, you may know what you want to accomplish and why it matters!

Recognize Your Motivational Drivers

Know what inspires you.
To proceed, you must first understand your motivations. Because each person is unique, what motivates one person may not inspire another. Some people are motivated by internal factors like personal growth or a sense of purpose, while others are motivated by outside factors like rewards or recognition. Knowing what inspires you will help you create a plan that will work best for you.



Come up with a plan

Set Smart Goals
Once your goals, top priorities, and inspiration sources are determined, then it's time to create an action plan. The definition of a SMART goal is precise, measurable, achievable, pertinent, and time-bound (i.e.,
they should align with your overall vision). 
Your objectives should be smaller, more doable steps that you may complete each day or each week.

Assign Responsibility

Accountability is necessary for remaining motivated and on task. You can establish accountability in several ways, such as telling a friend or member of your family what your goals are, joining a support group, or hiring a coach. Choose a plan that works best for you and will help you stay accountable and motivated over time.




Examine and Adjust Your Plan

It's crucial to assess your plan; make any necessary adjustments. Your motivation plan should be a living, breathing document that changes as your priorities, concerns, and sources of inspiration change. 


Reassess your goals ever so often!
Periodically evaluate your progress, then revise your plan as appropriate. Never be afraid to ask for assistance when necessary. Always remember to acknowledge and value your successes along the way.

In conclusion, giving careful thought to your goals, priorities, motivation triggers, and accountability is necessary to develop a motivation plan that is particular to you. 

You may remain motivated and on track as you work to accomplish your objectives by taking the time to create a plan that works for you.
